How this LED bar simulator works
This free online tool simulates a 12-pixel stage RGBW LED wash bar driven over DMX-512. Drag the Red, Green, Blue and White sliders to mix any color in real time, or pick a built-in pattern — chase, rainbow, color fade, strobe — to preview the dynamic effects you'd typically program from a DMX console or lighting controller. The DMX table below shows the live channel values you'd send on the wire to a real fixture.
The simulated fixture maps to an 8-channel RGBW mode used in SUPERCAN's B3604 LED Bar and similar wash bars: master dim, R, G, B, W, strobe, speed, mode. Higher pixel counts (18-, 24-, 36-channel) and additional features like sound-active triggering and color macros are available on the B4205/B4206 series. For UV blacklight applications, see our UV Bar DMX-512 Simulator.
Why use a stage LED bar with DMX-512?
- Predictable color mix — RGBW gives you a clean white channel for crisp wash light and saturated colors at the same time.
- Pixel control — addressable LED wash bars let you run chase, ripple and rainbow effects from any DMX-512 console without external pixel mapping.
- Compatible everywhere — DMX-512 is the universal stage lighting protocol; LED bars from any vendor speak it.
- OEM friendly — SUPERCAN custom-builds LED bar fixtures with branded channel layouts and IP-rated housings for touring and architectural use.
