What started as a small team of optical and electronics engineers has grown into a complete manufacturing house: mechanical design, circuit boards, firmware, final assembly and quality control are all handled under one roof. Because every part is engineered in-house, every product carries something you cannot copy out of a factory catalog — our DNA.
Today we design and build three product families: professional show lasers (our My Lite X-series), pro LED stage lighting, and the DMX and AV controllers that tie everything together. Our Story — From 2011 to 2026
SUPERCAN Light is the trade brand of SUPER-CAN Industry Growing Co., Ltd, founded in 2011 in Foshan, Guangdong, China. From day one we have been designing, prototyping and shipping DMX-512 stage controllers, RGB lasers, LED bars and audio-network bridges directly from our Foshan factory to professional venues worldwide.
- 2011 — Company founded in Foshan by an in-house lighting designer with over 15 years of laser-systems experience. First products: stage RGB lasers and ILDA hardware. Full-stack mechanical, PCB and firmware design under one roof from day one.
- 2015–2018 — DMX-512 stage video player line introduced. Standalone HDMI playback from any DMX console — no PC, no software stack.
- 2020 — LED Bar series (B3604 / B4204 / B4205-6) launched with 1–14.5 kHz flicker-free drivers for broadcast and slow-motion capture.
- 2022 — DMX HDMI Video Player V3 — 256 GB SD support, XLR I/O, made for touring and fixed installations.
- 2024 — V82K — 2K standalone DMX HDMI trigger; extended file system to 255 folders × 255 files.
- 2025 — AES67 ↔ AES3 / Dante / RAVENNA bridge — bringing AoIP to legacy broadcast XLR infrastructure.
- 2026 — UV Bar 60W (B18xUV) for blacklight stage applications; 8-channel 1U XLR Audio Isolation Transformer for ground-loop elimination.
Engineering Capabilities
SUPERCAN Light's engineering team works across six in-house disciplines from concept through finished SKU. Each discipline is staffed by full-time engineers based at the Foshan facility:
- DMX-512 firmware — Cortex-M0/M4 implementations of DMX-512, RDM (E1.20), Art-Net, and sACN (E1.31). Hardware DMA timing for guaranteed sub-1-frame latency on standalone players and decoders.
- RGB laser optics — ILDA scanning system design, galvanometer driver tuning, and Scanner Driver Protection (SDP) safety circuits that shut off the beam if galvos stall. Used in our Stage Laser 3W–30W product line.
- Audio DSP & AoIP — AES67 / AES3 / Dante / RAVENNA / Livewire+ protocol stacks with PTPv2 sync. Latency budgeting under 1 ms total through both stages of conversion. Used in the AES67 converter and XLR isolation transformer product lines.
- Embedded video systems — HDMI 1.4 / 2.0 output stacks, SD-card file-system handling up to 256 GB, hardware-accelerated H.264 decoding at 1080p and 2K. Used in the V3 and V82K standalone HDMI video player products.
- Mechanical & CNC tooling — In-house CNC shop for aluminium chassis, custom heat sinks, and rack-ear assemblies. Direct factory tolerance control so no SKU depends on outsourced casework deadlines.
- PCBA & SMT manufacturing — Surface-mount production lines on site, automated optical inspection, and low-MOQ tooling for OEM customers ordering custom DMX decoders and controller modules.

All SUPERCAN Light products are designed, prototyped, manufactured, and tested at the same Foshan facility. There is no separate subcontractor between our engineering and your shipping carton:
